Human Trafficking Awareness Month – How you can get involved!

January is Human Trafficking Awareness Month.

And this month, we invite you to approach the issue of modern-day slavery by taking up your Freedom Mandate to bring freedom to others. If you haven’t already, watch the video above to learn about your Freedom Mandate.

Caring for orphans and widows in their distress and helping the hurting are not just callings, they are commands for all believers. People set free by Jesus have a mandate to bring freedom to others.

For those exploited in sex trafficking, their greatest chance for freedom is for those freed and anointed by God to rise up.

It’s time for a movement of the free. It’s time to take up your Freedom Mandate!

Some of you may already know the story. If you don’t, we invite you to see how far the impact of your freedom-setting can go.

Toha was trapped in a brothel in Cambodia for 22 days when she found a cell phone, frantically made a call and waited for rescue. Soon thereafter, AIM came to set her free. After an extended time of healing and restoration, Toha is now an abolitionist for rescue…for change…for freedom. She testified in court. She shares her story. She advocates for those still trapped. Toha is courageous; she is free and she wants to bring freedom to others. Get the rest of her story HERE.

But you don’t have to be a survivor of sex trafficking to bring freedom to others. You simply have to be willing to rise up and take your Freedom Mandate.

Will you join AIM in rescuing, restoring and reintegrating girls and women like Toha? Will you join us in preventing this from happening to others?

This Human Trafficking Awareness Month we’re asking you to do 3 simple things:

1) Give monthly (any amount makes a difference!).
2) Ask your church to accept their Freedom Mandate.
3) Share your Freedom Mandate.
