Following the events that brought her back home, the Phnom Penh Anti-Human Trafficking and Juvenile Protection Police Department (AHTJP) requested assistance from AIM SWAT Team with the identification and arrest of the traffickers responsible.

AIM Investigators held detailed interviews with the victim and family members, and two suspects were identified and found to be associated with an address in Phnom Penh. The AIM SWAT Team conducted a covert surveillance operation and carried out a raid at the address leading to the arrest of both suspects, a Chinese male and a Cambodian female, on Tuesday, June 27th.

Both suspects were interviewed and taken to court where they were charged with human trafficking related offenses and have been remanded to prison to await trial.  The AIM SWAT legal team is representing the victim throughout the case.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”12px”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”8387″ img_size=”full” add_caption=”yes” alignment=”center”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]
