Brick yard kids coming to Rahab’s House Kids Club!
But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” 1 Corinthians 15:57
PRAISE
-We have victory in our Lord Jesus Christ. To quote brother Dean Johnson from Radical Reality..I’m claiming my victory, are you?
–Northwest Christian University is being light in the darkness! They accomplished amazing things all through Christ who gives us strength. New electric guitar, peddle for new key board, 6 lb bag of rice and a big fish for 70 families in one brickyard village, and so much more!
–Rahab’s House Siem Reap (RHSR) team taking a road trip to the Penh Friday to see people, family in Svay Pak, Phnom Penh do some shopping, catch a movie. May be Jaimie’s last hurrah down here before she heads back to CA in July.
-Two little ones have become princesses at ARC rescued last week through anti trafficking police and MoSAVY. Gives us hope in the police work here, men and women doing the right thing.
-Siny & some SP team went to different KTV karaoke clubs nearby inviting girls to come to clinic thru the managers, not very cordial management same same Siem Reap managers. The ladies don’t give up they keep making the rounds.
-Carla & Sauena returned from working at RHSR, we missed them and are grateful for all they do!
-ARC girls continue to work hard on their studies and therapy. They continue to bring us joy with their giggles and games they come up with to play. We have a few older girls hoping university will be within their reach later this year, early next. They have new worship songs and dances they do at Kids Club in SP, absolutely darling.
-Pastor Chan Tha has been making nightly visits to the neighbors to see how they are coping with the scooping out of sewage and garbage ( smells so badly) and the dump trucks following with dirt. They start at 6 AM and quit between 5 and 6 PM. They seem to be more pleased each day.
-The ATC ladies are coping with some new changes in operations. Before they were paid by the piece, now they receive a salary and production slowed down. Don and Isaac gave them the “Now You Are Professionals” pep talk. Production has spiked right up!
-For the Evans and Gherebean families, Isaac, Laura, Rachel, Becki, Kimberly, Jen.
-For our family, friends, USA office and volunteers, supporters, prayer partners, and Board.
But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves to God the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life.” Romans 6: 22
REQUESTS
-For God’s word to continue to penetrate the ARC , AH and RHSP girls’ hearts, for break throughs in their healing and faith. For ARC girls and reintegrated girls to follow the path they know is right and true, not to listen to the lies of the deceiver.
-God’s provision for all AIM ministries, all staff and volunteers work so hard, pray so hard, look to God in faith and we have cut back in some areas that are critical: food for some, Bibles and written materials for others, ongoing education for others, clothes, medical assistance, etc. It’s hard to do when you know the people behind the cut backs. When we go to the brick yard to pick up people for church or Kid’s Club and they can’t come because their one outfit is dirty, they are washing it and won’t come naked of course…Pray we can keep the standard of care at ARC and restore what had to be cut.
–One of our pastors has been sentenced to 2 years in prison trying to protect his home from being snatched up in a land grab. While he has been in there these past few months he has led 20 people accept the Lord as their Savior. He is so happy, finding joy like Paul in prison. He will not be shaken. Several other pastors face the same in protecting their family and homes. Many are very sick with various ailments.
-Pray we hear and act on the wisdom we ask for from our Lord that all we do are His plans, for His glory.
–Jobs for Cambodia, and specifically for dreams we have for in SP and SR.
-For sick family, friends and co workers.
This Memorial Day, we remember all those who have served and sacrificed for the freedom we still have today, it was at a great cost. We pray for our troops currently in battle, defending and protecting. We have always been patriots, living over here reinforces it all the more. God bless and preserve America.
