Human Trafficking Awareness Month Part 4

Human Trafficking Awareness Month 2017: Freedom is Coming!

Human Trafficking Awareness Month continues with a brief glimpse of what God is doing to bring restoration and freedom to this great land of Cambodia.

We rejoice in our suffering, knowing that suffering produces endurance, endurance produces character, and character produces hope. (Romans 5:3-4) Cambodia has suffered, Cambodians have endured and now Cambodia is a land of hope. God is at work and freedom is coming!

Programs and People Making a Difference

As you know, AIM is committed to freedom. And we’re excited because we’re seeing Cambodian leadership rising up, changing communities from the inside out, going into the darkest places, rescuing the enslaved and walking with them on the journey to restoration and reintegration.

Through our AIM Employment Centers, an alternative is being offered to the garment industry, not merely by providing employment, but by providing empowerment, too. AIM’s Rahab’s House Church is bringing relief to the brick factory workers, providing healthcare, food supplies and education for the children so that the cycle can be broken for the next generation.

We’re seeing survivors who’ve been restored now becoming the leaders of this movement to bring freedom to the masses. That’s just the beginning! The work is not finished yet, but now is the time to join the fight. So, learn, give, pray and go because freedom is coming!
