Last October, we told you about AIM SWAT busting a child sex trafficking ring in Phnom Penh. The group was involved in some of the worst kind of trafficking we see – selling the virginity of young girls.
At the time, a 15-year old victim we had rescued in a previous raid helped the AIM SWAT Team locate and track her traffickers. She was concerned for her younger 13-year-old sister’s safety, and that she might suffer the same nightmare she had gone through.
Those 3 traffickers were arrested, and the 13-year old girl was rescued. AIM SWAT’s Legal Team has stayed on their case since then, and this month we were able to give them some good news. Each of their traffickers have been found guilty and sentenced to 15 years in prison!
