American citizen, Danny Davila, took a trip to Svay Pak, Cambodia in March 2014 and was touring the streets on motorbike when he was approached by a young Cambodian.
During their conversation, Davila divulged that he was looking to buy sex with girls as young as 8-years-old. What he didn’t know is that he was talking with AIM staff. Our team was undercover and armed with secret cameras that recorded the whole conversation.
This information was quickly handed to the FBI and they began working with the AIM SWAT team to obtain further evidence related to Davila’s crime in order for the New York prosecutor to build a proper case against him. Davila was arrested in New York in 2017 for a separate offense and on November 14, 2018, he pled guilty in court for the attempted crime in Svay Pak and he was sent to prison. Davila’s sentence will be solidified in April 2019.
