He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.” Philippians 1:6
PRAISE:
-Praise God HE is always with us, He came to stay with and in us, not bouncing in and out, He comes to stay.
–The girls are doing really well creating and perfecting the jewelry they are making at ATC ( Agape Training Center).
–ARC clan continue to work and persevere in their restoration, education and play.
-Bunthan had a large birthday party last Sunday to celebrate Pastor Chan Tha’s 43 birthday. The Svay Pak team went to Spoon Restaurant for a buffet and a beautiful cake donated by Bloom. Thank you, Bloom, everyone loved the cake and ate every bit of it. It was the King’s Birthday as well, 3 day holiday, so they were able to get out of town to the beach and mountains for some restoration.
-It was also Pa Ol’s birthday (Director of ARC, he turned 39), but he was working in Siem Reap, but was able to spend time with his family and friends up there.
-All staff continue to work in God’s strength and wisdom, persevering through the difficult things they deal with every day in Him. Their smiles and work ethic inspire us.
-The neighbors are settling down over the dredging of the courtyard in the back. The village chief reassures them everyday we are here to do good, not harm. (PICTURE ABOVE!)
-The Northwestern Christian University team is doing well, ready work in SP all next week.
Which of you, if his son asks for bread will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask Him?” Matthew 7:9-11
REQUESTS:
-We are beginning the process of interviewing karaoke girls for the ATC. Pray they will overcome their fears to leave the clubs and grasp the opportunity to start a new life. They are ashamed of what they are doing, fear judgement and feel they don’t deserve a chance. Only God can erase all of that junk, please pray they listen to the whisper telling them to go, may it be a shout of encouragement to them.
-Based on what we are learning these past few weeks in Siem Reap we need to adjust our program. Please pray for God’s direction, perseverance, and finances.
-Some of our Cambodian staff is struggling with diabetes, fevers, sleeplessness, malaise, etc.
-For family and friends struggling with cancer, thyroid diseases, and various other known and unknown afflictions.
-SP team just returned from a visit to the brickyard. It’s been raining heavily the past few days. The living conditions are horrid, the kids and adults are slipping and falling down in all the muck, their skin is a mess, etc. They came away heavy hearted for the conditions and all they need. Some kids only have underpants to wear, no shoes.
–Some girls are battling loneliness, sadness being away from family, some have no family but AIM.
-For all AIM staff to work in God’s wisdom, strength, to be a light in the darkness.
