Updates from Cambodia

The LORD is my strength and song, and He has become my salvation; This is my God, and I will praise Him; my father’s God, and I will extol Him. Exodus 15:2

PRAISE

-Great is God’s faithfulness and love!

-We have so many girls coming to our Rahab’s Houses in both cities looking for refuge and help. Please pray we can be able to help them out, get restoration in Christ, a new life that includes a new way to earn a living wage.

-Team Bayside arrives this weekend to spread Jesus’ love.

Laura Linner has moved back to Cambodia and is getting ready to move up to Siem Reap to minister to the young girls and ladies at Rahab’s House.

-For all the work Dr. Carla does in Svay Pak, Siem Reap and in the provinces, for Isaac’s work at Agape Training Center (ATC), Brittany’s work at Rahab’s House Siem Reap (RHSR). For the USA staff, volunteers and supporters, we are always grateful. For our family, we love and miss them.

-A tuk tuk loaded with children to come to Rahab’s House School in Svay Pak had a near miss with a big truck, God was with them, but another vehicle fell victim. Traffic is crazy here and getting back and forth to school and work for our children and staff is terribly risky.

And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. Ephesians 6:18

REQUESTS

-For God’s continued grace, provision, protection, wisdom.

-For safety for teams, children, staff.

-For USA and the election.

-For people recovering from Hurricane Sandy.

-For travel mercies and rich blessings on Steve, Lygia, Arella & James as they return to USA. Thank you for all you’ve done for AIM, you will always be a part of the AIM family.

-As listed above, the need to help the girls desperate to get out of the brothels and karaoke clubs is great. We need miracles of provision and restoration.

-For our staff to endure and be Christ’s light, hope and joy in all circumstances.  The ARC house moms  and staff are working hard to break the grip of gambling that permeates all aspects of life here.

Rice is scarce and tremendously expensive, beef has doubled in price as well.

Pray for 121 Church team in Texas preparing to come to Cambodia soon, as well as the medical team from CA.

-For many family and friends in need of healing, help, peace.

You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:6-8
