With all my heart, I will praise the Lord. Let all who are helpless, listen and be glad. Psalm 34:2
UPDATES
Valentine’s Day was a fun day of celebrating God’s love for us. It also was one girl’s birthday. The staff made her a bouquet of flowers and lollipops. As they came down the stairs singing “Happy Birthday to You!” She burst into tears of happiness even before she saw the bouquet. How many teens do you know that so appreciate the recognition of her birthday with a song that she cries from happiness? Most of the people here have never celebrated their birthday so many don’t even know the day they were born, just the month, and some not even that. It was very touching.
We are glad and blessed by daily miracles and God revealing who He is in the darkness.
Clay & Emily have arrived, everyone was so excited to welcome them.
We are so blessed by our expat volunteers and national staff. Evans clan working hard spreading the joy and hope of Christ. He shines as well thru the Grace & Peace teachers in RHSP. Isaac, Andy, Brittany, Olivia, Jim & Mimi are wonderful.
We also will be welcoming Jared & Paul coming to assist Isaac & Don.
A team from Korea left the other day after doing research that will help end the slavery in our countries.
Blessed and grateful for family, friends, supporters, prayer partners all around the world. Grateful as well for other churches and NGOS we partner with in this fight for justice and eradication of human sex and labor trafficking.
PRAYER
For God’s protection and provision on all parts of the ministry. For unity within staff and girls, endurance to keep running the race.
For the arrest of traffickers with evidence submitted through our girls and staff.
Please pray hard for a building to become available in Svay Pak. We are desperate to have this building as a company out of Hong Kong will provide all the work needed to go into the building as well as providing great training and jobs for 125 girls. This will be 125 girls who can and want to be out of the brothel. They don’t want to be raped and terrorized one more night. They need Jesus, the security and assurance of a job available to them in order to find the courage to leave.
Next Saturday a new course provided by William Jessup University starts in Svay Pak.
Update on Moses & Samantha: They have written a book called Good News for You, showing how Buddha is not the way, only Jesus. He also speaks to this on a national radio broadcast. As this is a Buddhist country, it has upset people ranked high in the national religion and government. They have been forbidden to use Buddha’s name in any teachings, they have been threatened with expulsion and things will be made difficult for all the church if he continues to talk about Buddha in what they feel is a negative manner. Pray for hearts to be changed, protection on our pastors and the church in Cambodia.
So many family and friends struggling with cancer, illness, financial difficulties, please pray for relief, healing, joy.
Our 12th grandchild was born last week in New York State! Brooke had a hip to hip C section, has a fever and has to be fever free for 24 hours until she can hold Baby Irelyn again, please pray for that as well as Irelyn needs to stay in hospital 7 more weeks. Brooke has 6 other children at home. This is a very trying time for all. Difficult to be so far away at a time like this.
You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit – fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name. John 15:16
