Now, our God, we give You thanks, and praise Your glorious name. 1 Chronicles 29:13
UPDATES
-We praise God for all He does for us.
-The Power Team from Abundant Life Fellowship has been here for the past week, proclaiming God’s power and strength in Svay Pak and out in the provinces to the Cambodian Armed Services, where they have been well received. The team was so happy the soldiers of all ranks really welcomed them and were so interested in their stories and to hear about the hope and strength in Christ.
-For possible outlets to sell the 3Strands bracelets, and more possible t shirt orders. Please pray these possibilities become solid orders.
-For several marriages for ARC staff and RHSP families.
-Renovations on building for save housing for karaoke girls leaving The Life to work in ATC is going well (will be known as AIM Rahab’s House Phnom Penh/AIM RHPP).
-For all the blessings of provision, protection, God’s people leaning on Him and in His strength making positive differences in their work, home and community. We see the miracles of change everyday; families taking better care of their children and each other, kindness being shown, which is huge in a country that compassion is so rarely lived out.
-Chan Tha has agreed to start taking Mondays off!
-Brandon (Clay’s brother) and Natasha Butler along with their 3 children are visiting! The family is currently based in Ethiopia.
-The Crossing team out of Los Vegas arriving same day as the Butlers. Please pray it will be a great time of learning, sharing information, etc.
Clayton and Emily Butler are at home in Siem Reap! Here are some updates:
We have morning devotionals with the staff and the girls, but attendance from the girls has been a little low, so we have decided to revamp the Bible study and make it more like a youth group on Wednesday nights (songs, games, snacks, dramas, teaching). Brittnay Knight has been doing a wonderful job writing the lessons. I’ve enclosed some pictures of our costumes (in progress) for this coming Wednesday. We will be doing the story of Adam and Eve and sharing on sin and our separation from God because of sin. We will also be starting a new staff Bible study on Monday as well.
Prayer Requests
Pray that God would use Wednesday nights to reach and impact the girls we are serving.
Pray that the new Bible study would be used mightily to equip staff.
Pray for wisdom and favor as we look to hire some new staff.
Pray for an infusion of hope in the lives of the girls we serve. Some of the girls are under a heavy cloud of hopelessness, I’m praying for a breakthrough in this house.
And my God will meet all your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19
PRAYERS
-For God to continue to pour out His blessings of protection, provision, wisdom, strength on all AIM ministries, family, friends, supporters and prayer partners.
-For all AIM staff in Cambodia & USA, to continue growing in Christ, unity, perseverance.
-The building for the factory needed in Svay Pak for the garment business located in Hong Kong that will provide work for 125 girls and young ladies. This is a big request we need now. We just need to supply the building, the company will take care of all the other costs, training, etc. The CEO is a Christian, so the employees best interests will be theirs as well as ours.
–Don is meeting with the anti trafficking police on Monday.
– The estimates to finish the home in Svay Pak (AIM RHPP) raises a little every day, so please pray for the building to be completed soon, at cost, and it will be a blessed home for protection, restoration, hope, growth.
-For God’s grace, mercy, knowledge to soak into every aspect of ARC and RH girls, staff, families. Some of the girls newly out of the karaoke clubs struggle.
-Our daughter Brooke and her baby Irelyn still in the hospital.
-For sick and struggling family, friends, supporters, AIM /RH girls and staff, volunteers.
If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? Matthew 6:30
