God is so faithful everyday! Our NEW Rahab’s House opened this past week. The girls cried and sang, “Thank you, Thank you Jesus!” Made us all cry, it was so tender and joyful. It’s the nicest building in Svay Pak.
Here’s a video of the transformation!
We are still working on training a new group of rescued young women and finishing up the building for a NEW AIM Employment Center! New opportunities for t-shirt orders are coming up for AIM Employment Center. These orders are crucial because they keep our rescued young women working!
This past week Ken Peterson of Apricot Lane & 3Strands Global brought Phillip & Lia LaRue, and Danny Eun to visit AIM’s projects. Phillip and his wife are singer/songwriters out of Nashville. They did an album for Courage House and they write for many other artists as well as for themselves.
Danny’s family owns a chain of jewelry and accessory stores in Atlanta. They all loved what they saw and pledged to help the work, raise awareness, support and pray. It was great having them here.
We also had Nick Vujicic of Life Without Limbs ministry share the gospel at Rahab’s House! It was a beautiful time and many people were impacted by God through his ministry.
The NorthWest Christian University and William Jessup University teams did a great job of ministering to staff and community. Ratanak Foundation Ireland will be coming June 17.
The Bluetree Band (God of This City) is coming as part of a ministry team to pour into our music and worship team. Awesome!
Bella leaves tomorrow for a month for a discipleship and leadership training in Kuala Lumpur.
We are blessed beyond measure for the AIM expats who work in Cambodia and raise their own support. They contribute volumes to AIM and God’s Kingdom with no financial support from us. Also our AIM staff in the USA works so hard, we really love and appreciate you as well. Grateful for Jesus, our family, friends, supporters, prayer partners; we could not do this without you alongside us.
PLEASE PRAY
God is blessing on Rahab’s House School, but they are so busy. Also some teachers have health and dental issues the staff is helping them with. Please pray for their health and endurance.
One western staff member had a bad moto accident the other day, both he and machine rather banged up. He has been to the clinic, x-rayed and Sophy is helping him repair his moto. Our staff needs heaps of prayer to keep fighting the good fight in faith.
For the spiritual growth to continue to soar in our girls and staff. Some of our staff is struggling with troubles with neighbors in their community, older kids skipping school to go play at internet cafes instead of taking school seriously. It’s very discouraging. Pray they feel God ever so close to them.
For the karaoke girls to have the courage to leave the life and seek sanctuary at our transitional homes in Svay Pak and Siem Reap. Pray for us to care for them well.
The AIM Restoration Home girls are doing so well, the ones still in the center and the graduates. It’s amazing to see how they’ve grown taller, more mature, sweeter and loving the Lord. Pray for God to continue the great work He has done in their lives.
