Praises and Prayer 9-24-12

Oh,what a miserable person I am! Who will free me from this life that is dominated by sin? Thank God! The answer is in Jesus Christ our Lord. So you see how it is. In my mind I really want to obey God’s law, but because of my sinful nature I am a slave to sin. Romans 7 : 24-25

– Grateful for God’s grace. He has set us free from the slavery of guilt and pain of the past.
-Lygia and the rescued girl who had heart surgery have returned to Siem Reap. They have recuperated so well and quickly. Sorvy has been back in Rahab’s House Siem Reap. Many thanks for all your prayers and finances to make this possible.
-Kelly will be working at Agape Restoration Center (ARC) full time starting in a week! Thank you, Kelly!
Bridgeway arrives in Cambodia this Sunday! Thank you, team!
-Many thanks to all the volunteers and friends that helped me these past two weeks taking care of business stateside.
-Grateful to all our Board, staff, volunteers, prayer partners and supporters. For all AIM staff.

First, help me never to tell a lie. Second, give me neither poverty nor riches! Give me just enough to satisfy my needs. For if I grow rich, I may deny you and say, “Who is the Lord?” and if I am too poor, I may steal and thus insult God’s Holy Name. Proverbs 30:8-9

-For all trafficked girls to feel free from the slavery of guilt and pain of the past. God bless the staff and families who take care of them.
-We are implementing new conflict resolution procedures at ARC, between the girls (so many pre teen and teen girls, one can only imagine) and girls and staff, and staff and staff. Please pray for God to bind satan; for unity, peace and joy.
-As always, the finances, pray for wisdom where the cut backs need to be made first and for God’s overflow of provision. It’s difficult to cut back anywhere when you live with the people the cut backs hurt.
-Making yet another attempt to work with the anti trafficking police. In the past corruption has thwarted every attempt made to arrest traffickers. Please pray for satan to be bound in this situation as well.
-Problem with the water sources in Svay Pak. Don needs to depend on the kindness of others to use their shower.
-For the 3Strands brand of bracelets and shirts the girls make at Agape Training Center (ATC) to flourish. Girls come down to see if they can leave the karaoke clubs and have employment and refuge at Rahab’s House Svay Pak and the ATC there. We’d love to get an ATC in Siem Reap, as the girls up there are looking for jobs where they keep their dignity, modesty, their humanity and minds. They are looking for redemption and salvation. We pray they will see Jesus in all we do, and their dreams of getting out of the brothels and knowing Jesus becomes their reality.

You didn’t chose Me. I chose you. John 15:16
